CICONSTRUGA S.A.S. is committed with the environment. Conscious of the need to protect our environment, we have joined the struggle for environmental conservation and sustainable development of the industry.

Our programs are focused on the preservation of the Pàramos, as the only natural water fabrics left in the tropics, as so as all of the fauna and flora that are part of this vital ecosystem.

We work with biologists who are dedicated to assure a detailed inventory of all species belonging to this type of climate, some of those in danger of extinction, with the aim of finding different alternatives for their preservation.

Our effort to protect the environment does not stop and that's why we support different entities such as 350.0rg, which is dedicated to the profound study of global warming. Just as we actively participate in international fairs and events aimed at promoting sustainable industry and clean production, such as the environmental fair GLOBE 2008 held in Vancouver, Canada.

But we are clear that in order to preserve our planet we will require more than fairs and campaigns. We need for every person to be aware of his role in this mission and its responsibility to generate the change necessary to secure our future. This awareness must be permanent because momentary efforts will be in vain if as individuals we are not active participants.

Through our programs and on daily basis our interest is to transmit the necessity for this individual consciousness and corporate responsibility, which are essential in order to live life in a better world.

We are working on the process of accreditation by the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Development in order to obtain the certification provided under the Taxation Regulations for the importation of machinery or equipment designed to recycle and process waste, purification and wastewater treatment, air emissions or solid waste. We support the recovery of rivers and basic sanitation, reducing carbon emissions and greenhouse gases. We will be watching to announce any new development in this line of work.
